So, actually fig is not a fruit, it is considered as an inverted flower. At initial stages, it is a pear shaped pod, then a bloom pour out from the pod and at last it becomes fruit that parrots eat. The pod produces hard shell fruit named as achene. Parrots can eat different types of achene.

As a parrot owner, you should know how to serve figs to the parrots. It is the best way to attract your parrot. My parrot loves to eat figs. As a parrot care taker, here, I will tell you some pro ways of serving figs to the parrots. These ways are as follows:

• If you serve ripe figs, it is better to wash it properly to avoid germs and pests.
• You should serve figs as a puree to the parrots.
• You can add figs to the parrots juice to enhance the taste of the juice.
• You can serve figs to the Parrots by cut it into small pieces because large pieces cause choking hazards in parrots.
• While cutting figs in pieces it is better to cut it in various shapes that attract parrots.
